Amy Smart, PhD student, co-supervised with Prof. Brendan Choat is on a Baker Hughes Grant working on rainforest resilience after fire. Part of Amy's research is in Nightcap NP where I investigate rainforests recovery after fire.
Bree Laugier, PhD student, co-supervised with Prof. Mark Tjoelker and associated with ARC DP Grant “Pushing the Envelope : Does Range Size Limit Eucalypt Tolerance to Warming?”

Camille Sicangco, PhD student, co-supervised with Prof. Belinda Medlyn, is investigating how temperatures responses to physiological processes are related to plant growth across the East Coast of Australia.

Amber McMillan is a Masters student I supervise, who is investigating the effects of elevated CO2 and phosphorus fertilization on shrubs and grasses of the Cumberland plain woodlands.

Dr. Josef Garen is a postdoc associated with ARC DP Grant “Pushing the Envelope : Does Range Size Limit Eucalypt Tolerance to Warming?” He did his PhD with Prof. Michaeletz at the University of British Columbia, Canada.

Interested in joining?

I am always looking for active and engaged students willing to work in the field and generally enjoying nature. There are numerous ways that you can participate in research including volunteering on projects, undertaking postgraduate studies, or engaging in research exchange visits. From time to time we advertise postdoctoral and technical positions associated with the lab here. Contact Kristine to discuss options.
